Shame On Us!
How do we sit idly by and allow our fellow Americans to struggle without knowledge of our support? Black Christian Churches have been quiet, far too long, about the social injustice that does not have direct affect on us. This unrighteousness overcomes Minnesota today, but it will impact our Community tomorrow. We must stand against the unjust and immoral actions being done in the name of the Christ that we know to be loving and caring and just. Minnesota is not just about Minnesota. It is not simply about the misuse of Somalians but about the abuse, disrespect of people that God has sent His Son to redeem. Make no mistake, this historic, pharonic, political abuse of the people of Minnesota is an affront to our faith, our American citizenship, our God and God's people everywhere. Let us speak up for right and righteousness as we call for the cessation of the accusation and abuse of the people whom God has "so loved..." Bless them by standing up for them now!
